Homework Due Friday, September 29, 2017

The main assignment comes in three parts. Notice that they are not in chronological order as the reference is to a WSJ article that is pay-wall protected. Hence, we begin with the reposting of the original article. Follow that with the initial post about the article, which has additional information. Finally, read the post on the response.

Come prepared to make some online forecasts–we will submit The Infinity Institute’s (TII) wisdom and await the Universe’s confirmation.

Question for Kevin: Where would his dad recommend I park at work?

I had some spare time in McAlester recently and was able to hit a garage sale–I was able to find the perfect gift for each Kevin and Josh. I spent a long time looking up a comparison price on Angie’s gift only to learn it was not for sale.

I have a pilot to pitch.

How about a new segment? Above Average/Below Average (AKA, Lake Wobegone): What is something you think you are above or below “average” at? Does the group agree?

I got jams, jams, and jams.

See you Friday!

P.S.,

  2. Here is a link to the Barbell Logic podcast where Matt Reynolds and Scott Hambrick explain (hopefully better than I did) the benefits of wearing a belt for weightlifting. There is a super brief discussion of the episode’s whiskey starting at 00:35, lasting about a minute. The belt discussion starts at 19:28. They get into the explanation of why a belt is useful at 25:00.
