This week’s main assignment is recycling, huh, yeah; what is it good for?
The extra credit begins with a gift for our evening’s special guest, David. He has been tasked with creating a job title for his new position, something to do with dollars at a law place. Choose one for him, and pick out one for yourself while you’re at it. If you have suggestions for the others in the group, bring those to try on as well.
Don’t know if you keep up with news of the politics, but it leaves me wondering where is a good political cartoonist when we need him. He sure would put those rascals in their place with his caric-cur-a-tures.
More bad news for Josh (just read the abstract & conclusion): “When we update this prior in light of the Fermi observation, we find a substantial probability that we are alone in our galaxy, and perhaps even in our observable universe (53%–99.6% and 39%–85% respectively). ‘Where are they?’ — probably extremely far away, and quite possibly beyond the cosmological horizon and forever unreachable.”
I will post some updates to IFF this week.
Does this one make Kevin’s list?
Lots of nighttime music taken from this great playlist:
Elmer’s (Jim’s) wheels
Light and water show
Should be a fabulous evening. See you Friday.
