The 2022 season will be upon us very soon (but not soon enough). This is the first of several preseason pods. Being that players haven’t yet reported to fall camp, this is really pre-preseason. Here is some of what we discussed:

• How do we feel in general about the upcoming season for OU? How does this compare to how we felt at this point last year? Are we more realistic in our appraisal now?
• When will the BV honeymoon period end? Within the 2022 season? Within the next three years? Within the next seven years (like Stoops)? Never?
• How many players will OU have on the 2022 All Big 12 first team?
• What should OU’s entry music be?
• Which of these does Brent Venables demand a higher level of as compared to Lincoln Riley?
